আমার গল্প
আকাশ ছুঁয়ে মাটি কামড়ে বেঁচে থাকার আজন্ম স্বপ্ন দেখা যুবক। কখনো মেডিসিন, কখনো সাংবাদিকতা কিংবা আন্তর্জাতিক সম্পর্ক নিয়ে পড়ার স্বপ্ন দেখা ছেলেটা সব ছেড়ে ছুঁড়ে পড়েছে তড়িৎ এবং তড়িৎযন্ত্র প্রকৌশল বিভাগে। কোন কারন নেই। কারন নিয়ে সব কিছু হয়না। যদি সব কিছু ইচ্ছেমতই হয় বাঁচার ইচ্ছে থাকেনা। সব পেয়ে যাওয়ার নিদারুণ যন্ত্রনা থেকেই হয়তো আত্মহত্যার মত কঠোর সিন্ধান্তের জন্ম হয়। অপূর্ণ থাকুক কিছু ইচ্ছে, কিছু স্বপ্নরা বেঁচে থাকুক….
আমি অতো তাড়াতাড়ি কোথাও যেতে চাই না; আমার জীবন যা চায় সেখানে হেঁটে হেঁটে পৌঁছুবার সময় আছে, পৌঁছে অনেকক্ষণ বসে অপেক্ষা করবার অবসর আছে। জীবনের বিবিধ অত্যাশ্চর্য সফলতার উত্তেজনা অন্য সবাই বহন করে করুক; আমি প্রয়োজন বোধ করি না : আমি এক গভীরভাবে অচল মানুষ হয়তো এই নবীন শতাব্দীতে নক্ষত্রের নিচে।
After obtaining a government scholarship in the fifth grade, my photo first appeared in the newspaper. The answer was exactly what I want to be when I grow up: a doctor!
Don’t people’s aspirations shift throughout time?
The photo was featured for the second time in the national newspaper when I became the Upazila champion in the Prothom Alo-Grameenphone Internet Utshab 2011. The same question applies: what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a computer programmer, was the response. I intended to pursue journalism, international relations, or criminology when I first started college, for some strange reason.
There’s a huge difference between desiring something and attaining it.
A boy who aspires to be as big as the sky and dreamt about studying medicine, journalism, or international relations before abandoning all to pursue a career in Electrical and Electrical Engineering and finally done with that. Oh (Heavy Breathe)! There’s no explanation for this subject! Because not everything goes as expected, and if everything goes according to my plan, the desire to live is lost.The agony of gaining it could have led to a tough decision like suicide (my thoughts).
